Ganta Mission School Scholarships
Ronda Ditter-Schmidt
Scholarship Fund
In 2016, Sua Foundation, in collaboration with the family of Dr. Ronda Ditter-Schmidt has launched a scholarship program for high school students at Ganta Mission school. The program will pay full tuition and fees for eight student; a male and female in grades nine through twelve. Qualification criteria include a 3.0 GPA, involvement in community activities, strong spiritual and moral principle, member of the Mano or Gio ancestries and pleasant personalities. Dr. Jonathan Uy Family High School ScholarshipTantee Lougon was born on July 5, 2002 in Saclepea City, Nimba County unto the union of Isaac Lougon and Betsy Lougon. Her mother hails from Glehyee Zorpea, Yahwin Messonnoh District while her father comes from Saclepea City. The couple has 6 children and Tantee is the 6th of those children. Tanteeās father is a Classroom Teacher at a public school in Saclepea while the mother is a petty trader. She lives with her elder sister who is also a high school student in Ganta. Miss Lougon is a baptized member of the Miller McAllister United Methodist Church and an active member of the Youth Fellowship of the Church. Tantee desires to become a Medical Doctor in the future. It is with great pleasure that we are recommending Tantee Lougon to the Sua Foundation for a possible sponsorship. New Principal, Principal, Mr. Zawolo Z. Zuagele, on the left, who was appointed during the recent GUMS graduation by the Bishop of the Liberia Annual Conference, the United Methodist Church. Standing with Principal Zuagele are scholarship students from Saclepea City an area of subsistence farming and on the right Sua Foundation Representative Sei Weledia Sua.
These are three students from the summer of 2024 who are qualified after our screening process with them. These students are:
Faith Y. Gonyon Female Grade 9 . These are students who took the first, second, third, and fourth places in the Grade 8 class last academic year. They are all citizens of Nimba of the Mano and Gio speaking group. We will continue to work with them as to get better results from them in their academic A fourth student, Patricia Y. Bleipea Female Grade 9 has also qualified and a picture will follow soon of her. |

Sua Foundation, Inc. is a registered charity 501C(3) in the United States of America, and in Liberia we are registered as a nonprofit tax exempt organization. We began simultaneous operations in both countries in November of 2005. As a public foundation, most of our funding support is generated from public contribution. We encourage donations and grants from public and private sectors.
